Dastychius improvisus, unique représentant du genre Dastychius, est une espèce de tardigrades de la famille des Isohypsibiidae.

Cette espèce est endémique d'Antarctique[1].
Étymologie[modifier | modifier le code]
Ce genre est nommé en l'honneur de Hieronimus Dastych[1].
